Fara Tolno was born in Conakry, Guinea, West Africa, March 23, 1974. He  spent most of his youth growing  up in Kissidougou  and Conakry. Playing Djembe since the age of 9, Fara has traveled extensively teaching drum and dance workshops. As a former  lead drummer with Les  Merveilles de  Guinea, Fara  has performed  with some of the most highly acclaimed artists  and musicians  of West African Music. www.kissidugu.org
